You can create a nice hedgehog out of a paperback which is no longer used. The larger the pocket book the larger the hedgehog will be. Until it becomes a porcupine
First thing to do with the pocket book is to remove the (perhaps firm) cover. Then you start with folding the sheets one by one. For a small hedgehog the front of each sheet is fold below 45 degrees and the top part remains straight. For the big porcupine you fold the sheet from one point to the other so there is no longer a straight edge.
Once that is done you take black card board and cut it in the form of an hedgehog’s nose. Glue this at the front of the folding masterpiece. Glue also the wobbly eyes on top and your hedgehog is done.

Hint

  • For extra firmness you could create a bottom out of cardboard and glue the folding piece on it.
