vouwslinger3 For every party of course you can use nice garlands. These can be completely assembled without staples, glue or tape. Also you can make different shapes.
Start with an A4 paper, divide it into 4 parts and cut them out. Now you have four sheets for the parts. (This is so A6 sheets)
Fold a sheet double, turn 90 degrees and fold again. Make sure the bottom left corner is the folded angle and the upper right corner has four separate parts.
Draw a figure for example as shown on the picture. Now cut this out of the paper.

Do this with more sheets of paper and fold the sheets open again, in the same colors or several different. Or if you want to completely orange, sometimes red, white, blue (Dutch national colors) when you make a garland for soccer or Queens-day.

Then the parts are put together.
Fold 1 part solid double and slide the other part through. (See photo) When he is through you fold it open again and and double in the other direction. Then sit the pieces together and you can attach the next sheet.

Continue until your garland has obtained the desired length.

Hint

  • First make a mold of cardboard of the figure you’re going to use, so you can always copy the folded sheet of paper.
You can use different shapes such as rectangle, heart etc. As long as you make sure the bottom of a piece sits right between where the top fits.
