Cut out 31, equal sized cards from the thin but firm card board. Make sure they are not too long. Put a number ranging from 1 to 31 on the upside of each card. These represent the days within a month. Create also 7 cards that are 1 to 1,5 cm longer. Put the days of the week on these cards. Do you know all seven of them?
Then create another 12 cards that are again 1 to 1.5 cm longer and put the months of the year on them. Again on the upside.
Now you need a small box in which you can put all cards. Nicest is to make the box yourself from firm card board. That way you cards will nicely suit the box.
Put your cards in the right order in the box and youre calendar is ready.
Hint
-
You can also apply nice figures on the cards so that you see something new each day.
Hint 2: You can also cut out the days, weeks and months from an old calendar and glue them onto your cards!
